Intelligent printing factory is a complex and huge system, which mainly consists of five parts: intelligent logistics system, enterprise management software, production information collection system, intelligent production equipment and intelligent service system. Through the collaborative work of various systems, an intelligent printing factory with complete functions and high automation is constructed. In the intelligent printing factory, equipment and equipment are interconnected, people are interconnected, people and equipment are interconnected, that is, the physical objects in the system communicate in the information system, and cross-border information exchange is carried out.
1. Intelligent Logistics System
Intelligent logistics system includes intelligent WMS (warehouse management system), external logistics and internal logistics. External logistics receives instructions from manufacturing enterprises to transport production materials. Each material will have its own identity when the production enterprises enter the warehouse. The instructions of internal logistics are issued by ERP system and MES (Production Manufacturing Execution System). According to the instructions, the AGV intelligent car will accurately transport the materials under different processing conditions to the next processing point or return to the upper process.
In the intelligent logistics system, the real-time position and processed state of each material will be displayed in the system, as well as in the production site through Kanban real-time display.
2. Enterprise Management Software
Enterprise management software is the brain of an intelligent printing factory. Enterprise resource allocation and order management are executed by ERP system; the specific production of orders, equipment allocation, capability control and processing task allocation of each production unit (or intelligent equipment) are executed by MES. MES will make judgments based on the historical data of each production unit and the data of production unit self-analysis and operation.
3. Production Information Acquisition System
Intelligent printing factories can achieve self-operation only by manual monitoring, which mainly depends on timely and accurate collection and transmission of production information. Information acquisition methods include manual acquisition and automatic acquisition. Information carriers include RFID antenna, bar code, two-dimensional code and so on. The collected information can be transmitted efficiently and accurately in the industrial Internet without geographical restrictions.
4. Intelligent Production Equipment
In the intelligent printing factory, printing and packaging equipment is no longer the only or independent main production equipment, but a link of the whole intelligent production process.
As an intelligent production equipment, printing and packaging equipment has the following functions: full-automatic winding up and down technology, full-automatic cutting technology, intelligent pre-overprint technology, intelligent automatic inking and inking technology, intelligent automatic cleaning technology, intelligent data management technology and docking technology with cloud service center. In addition, the printing and packaging equipment also has the ability of self-analysis and diagnosis. Its own operation, order completion and docking with the next process are controlled by MES, which can read and write automatically and complete the setting of process parameters. Therefore, equipment operators only play the role of supervision and inspection, so that enterprises can reduce 50% of the operators.
With the gradual implementation of industry 4.0, the operation of printing and packaging equipment itself, the completion of orders and the connection with the next process will no longer be directly controlled by MES, but can be achieved between the equipment. When the coordination between the equipment can not be fully connected, it will automatically switch to the unified and coordinated solution of MES. The solution may be in the factory, or may be cross-regional or cross-national.
